Because Punx in the Woods is completely non-commericial and volunteer-run, we’re always looking for people who can help make our events as fantastic as possible. Volunteering for the festival or donating supplies are just two ways you can help us. You can sign-up to be a Punx in the Woods volunteer at a planning meeting or the festival itself, as well as make monetary donations here or at a fundraiser show. Community Kitchen Help & Food Donations
To help out with the community kitchen, there are a couple things you can do:
– Donate food at least 48 hours BEFORE the event by dropping off at one of the lead volunteers’ houses or a fundraiser show.
– Signup for a meal day in our FB planning group (link below). Keep in mind we are depending on you to show up if you sign-up. Please don’t cancel last minute. The commitment will require 3-4 hours prep & serve time at the festival, as well as bringing food for about 200 people. Basic cooking supplies & grills are available in the main camp kitchen tent.
– Show up at the kitchen tent and ask how you can help. We always need people to wash dishes and keep the place sanitary for everyone between meals. Thanks so much!
We ALWAYS Need Volunteers for the Welcome Tent!
Hospitality starts at noon and closes up around 2am. Duties include: direct campers where they can post tents, and show bands where to load-in. You will also be responsible for collecting donations and handing out complimentary PITW merch to donors. Hand out event pamphlet with map and general rules on the grounds.
